Niwaki Sentei Topiary Clippers – classic one-handed Japanese topiary clippers designed for detailed, controlled shaping. Light, responsive and beautifully simple, they’re ideal for working carefully around box, yew and other topiary plants.
Hand-forged in Sanjo, Japan, from S58C carbon steel, these clippers deliver clean, precise cuts on soft new growth. The spring-action design makes them comfortable to use over longer periods, and a spare spring is included so you can keep them working smoothly.

Tool care made easy: After use, remove sap and residue with Niwaki Crean Mate, then protect the blades with a light coating of Camellia Oil. Regular cleaning and oiling will help prevent rust and keep the blades cutting cleanly.
Best usage: ideal for trimming soft new growth and shaping box, yew and other topiary plants. Not designed for hard or woody branches – for those jobs, use Sentei Secateurs instead. Cut smoothly and avoid twisting the blades.
