Local Hand Delivery (Edinburgh)

Local Hand Delivery is a service required for large plants, terrariums and fragile items that need careful handling. Available to the following postcodes only: EH1 to EH22, plus EH28 and EH29.

This service has a flat rate delivery fee of £7.95 per order. Deliveries take place Monday to Friday between 9am and 5pm.

When choosing local delivery, you will be asked to select a delivery date at checkout. Delivery dates can be selected up to 7 days in advance. Local deliveries take place between 9am and 5pm on the selected date, and we are unable to offer timed delivery slots.

Next working day delivery is available for orders placed before 3pm. Orders placed after 3pm on a Friday will be delivered from the following Monday onwards.

Please ensure someone is present at the delivery address on the selected delivery date. If we are unable to deliver because no one is available, a redelivery fee of £7.95 will apply before the order can be resent.

Click & Collect

Free collection is available from our St Vincent Street plant shop (EH3 6SH).

Orders are usually ready within one hour. You can choose your collection date at checkout.

We cannot be held responsible for damage once items have been successfully delivered.

Cancellations

Orders may only be cancelled if they have not yet been processed or dispatched. As we often begin preparing orders shortly after they are placed, this window can be very limited.

Once an order has been processed or dispatched, it cannot be cancelled.

To request a cancellation, please email hello@growurban.uk as soon as possible, quoting your order number. We cannot guarantee that cancellation requests will be successful.

In the unlikely event that we are unable to fulfil your order, we reserve the right to issue a full refund. You will be notified as soon as possible if this happens.
