Niwaki Garden Shears – beautifully balanced Japanese garden shears designed for everyday hedge trimming, shrub shaping and topiary work. Sharp, responsive and reassuringly solid, they’re a pleasure to use for regular garden maintenance.
Made in Sanjo, Japan, the blades are forged from hard-wearing SK carbon steel, known for its excellent sharpness and ease of sharpening. Smooth white oak handles feel comfortable in the hand and give good control when clipping hedges, box and other soft to medium growth.

Tool care made easy: After use, remove sap and residue with Niwaki Crean Mate, then protect the blades with a light coat of Camellia Oil. Regular cleaning and oiling will help prevent rust and keep the blades cutting cleanly.
Best usage: ideal for trimming hedges, shrubs, box and light topiary. Not designed for very thick or woody branches – for those jobs, use secateurs or loppers instead. Cut smoothly and avoid twisting or levering the blades.
