Phalaenopsis ‘Optifriend' Mini Orchid

Our Phalaenopsis OptiFriend Mini Orchid, is a compact flowering houseplant with elegant, long-lasting blooms. Perfect for shelves, desks and smaller spaces, these miniature orchids bring a beautiful splash of colour without taking up much room.

Each plant is grown by Opti-flor in the Netherlands, specialist orchid growers known for producing exceptional quality plants for the home. With the right care, Phalaenopsis orchids can flower for many weeks and rebloom year after year.

Light & Position

Prefers bright, indirect light. Avoid strong direct sunlight, which can scorch the leaves and flowers.

Watering

Water when the roots begin to look silvery, usually around every 10–14 days depending on the season and temperature. Soak the nursery pot in tepid water for around 10 minutes, then allow it to drain thoroughly before returning it to its decorative pot.

Flowering

Once the flowers have faded, trim the flowering stem just above a healthy node to encourage further growth. Healthy Phalaenopsis orchids can rebloom, although they may need a cooler period to help trigger a new flower spike.
