Niwaki Shuro Brush is a beautifully simple Japanese-style hand brush made from the natural fibres of Trachycarpus fortunei, bound together with copper wire. Small but surprisingly useful, it's perfect for sweeping around houseplants, bonsai, potting benches and other hard-to-reach corners.
The angled profile allows for both broader sweeps and more precise brushing, making it ideal for tidying soil after repotting, clearing debris from moss, patios and terraces, or dusting shelves and keyboards around the home.
Lightweight, durable and endlessly practical, it's one of those tools you'll find yourself reaching for far more often than expected. Not very big, but exceptionally handy.
