How to make: Gather a mixing bowl, some water and a tray for drying. Follow the included instructions to combine the ingredients, roll your seedballs and leave them to dry.

Where and when to scatter: Choose an outdoor pot, window box or patch of bare garden soil. Scatter in autumn or spring, leaving at least 10cm between seedballs. Leave them whole on the surface rather than burying them, and water during dry spells while they establish.
