Howea forsteriana, commonly known as the Kentia Palm, is one of the most elegant and enduring indoor plants. This impressive specimen stands approximately 180cm tall, instantly creating height, structure and a relaxed tropical feel in any interior.

Renowned for its graceful arching fronds and exceptional tolerance of typical indoor conditions, the Kentia Palm has been a favourite of interior designers for generations. It thrives in bright, indirect light but is equally happy in lighter shade, making it one of the easiest large statement plants to grow.

Water when the top few centimetres of compost have dried out, taking care not to overwater. Avoid prolonged direct sunlight and cold draughts. Feed with a houseplant fertiliser during spring and summer to encourage healthy new growth.
