Haworthia fasciata ‘Big Band’, often known as the Zebra Haworthia or Fairy Washboard, is a compact, architectural succulent with striking white bands across deep green leaves. Its bold pattern and tidy rosette shape make it a perfect choice for shelves, desks and small spaces.
This is one of the easiest houseplants to care for, ideal for beginners or anyone looking for a low-maintenance indoor plant. Closely related to Aloe, Haworthia thrives on neglect rather than attention.
Light & Position
Place in a bright spot with indirect light. It will tolerate some direct sun, but avoid prolonged harsh sunlight.
Watering
Allow the compost to dry out almost completely between waterings. Water sparingly, especially in winter. Overwatering is the most common issue.
Humidity
Prefers dry air. Avoid placing in humid environments such as bathrooms.
Feeding
Feed lightly once a year during the growing season.
