Aster ‘Showmakers® Trio’

Aster ‘Showmakers® Trio’ is a colourful, compact perennial producing masses of beautifully full, double flowers from late summer into autumn. With several complementary flower colours growing together in one pot, it creates an instant display for patios, balconies and garden containers just as many summer plants are beginning to fade.

Part of the Showmakers® Aster series, these modern Michaelmas daisies have been bred for their dense, richly petalled flowers and neat, bushy growth. They are particularly effective in pots and containers but can also be planted into the garden, where they can return year after year.

Light & Position

Prefers full sun or partial shade. A bright position will encourage plenty of flowers, although plants in very sunny spots may need more frequent watering.

Watering

Keep the compost consistently moist during active growth and flowering, allowing the surface to dry slightly between waterings. Avoid leaving the plant sitting in water, as Asters dislike waterlogged roots.

Care

Remove faded flowers regularly to help prolong the flowering display. Feed every few weeks during spring and summer when grown in a container. After the foliage dies back in winter, cut the plant down and allow it to regrow the following spring.
