Zamioculcas zamiifolia ‘Raven’

Zamioculcas zamiifolia ‘Raven’, often known as the Raven ZZ Plant, is a striking houseplant loved for its dramatic foliage that matures to an almost black, deep chocolate colour. New leaves emerge bright green before slowly darkening to glossy near-black, creating a bold architectural plant that works beautifully in modern interiors.

Native to eastern Africa, the ZZ Plant is famously one of the easiest houseplants to care for. Its thick, waxy leaves and underground rhizomes store water, allowing the plant to tolerate occasional neglect and low light conditions. This makes ZZ Raven an excellent choice for beginners or for rooms where many other plants struggle.

With its upright stems and sculptural form, the Raven ZZ Plant brings strong structure to shelves, sideboards and floor displays. It pairs especially well with neutral interiors and minimalist spaces where its dark foliage can really stand out.

Watering: Allow the top inch of soil to dry completely before watering again.
