ZZ Plant 'Midori' (Zamioculcas zamiifolia 'Midori') is an unusual and highly sought-after variety of the classic ZZ Plant. Its distinctive rounded leaflets and glossy deep green foliage create a softer, more sculptural appearance than traditional ZZ varieties, making it a striking addition to any home or office.
Native to eastern Africa, ZZ Plants are renowned for their resilience and ability to thrive with minimal care. 'Midori' is exceptionally adaptable, tolerating lower light levels while remaining one of the easiest houseplants to grow. Its upright growth habit and lush foliage make it perfect for adding greenery to living rooms, bedrooms and workspaces.
Allow the compost to dry out completely between waterings, as ZZ Plants store water within their thick rhizomes and prefer to be kept on the dry side. Feed monthly during spring and summer to encourage healthy growth.
As well as being incredibly low maintenance, ZZ Plants are valued for their air-purifying qualities and ability to cope with a wide range of indoor conditions.
