Zamioculcas zamiifolia, commonly known as the ZZ Plant, is one of the easiest and most reliable houseplants you can grow. Native to eastern Africa, it is loved for its glossy, architectural foliage and remarkable ability to thrive with minimal care.
Tolerant of a wide range of conditions, the ZZ Plant is perfect for busy homes, offices and anyone new to houseplants. Its thick stems and underground rhizomes store water, allowing it to cope well with occasional neglect.
Light: Thrives in bright, indirect light but will also tolerate lower light levels. Avoid prolonged direct sunlight.
Water: Allow the compost to dry out completely between waterings. Water less frequently during winter.
Care: Feed monthly during spring and summer with a balanced houseplant fertiliser. Wipe leaves occasionally to keep them glossy and dust-free.
Please note: ZZ Plants are toxic if ingested and should be kept out of reach of pets and children.
