Yucca elephantipes (125cm)

Yucca elephantipes, also known as the Spineless Yucca, is a bold, architectural houseplant with a strong upright stem topped with a crown of long, sword-shaped green leaves. This single-stem specimen makes an impressive floor plant for bright rooms, adding height and structure without taking up too much space.

Native to Central America, Yucca is naturally drought tolerant and very easy to care for. It prefers a bright position and should be allowed to dry out well between waterings. Water thoroughly when the compost feels dry, allowing any excess to drain away, and reduce watering during the cooler winter months.

Older lower leaves may naturally yellow and dry as the plant grows. These can simply be removed to keep the stem looking neat.
