Originating in South America, this stunning popular column cactus can grow up to 2m in height! Stems are pale green, covered with short spines. Sometimes referred to as the Red Foxtail Cactus due to the reddish brown woolly hair grown on the stems. When flowering, produces delicate, funnel-shaped, white and pale yellow flowers.
Allow to dry out between waterings. Water more frequently in Summer and not at all in Winter. Feed throughout Summer. Prefers bright to mid-light levels.
