Caring for Vanda in the UK
Vanda orchids thrive in strong levels of light, although caution should be taken to avoid leaf scorch during the peak of British summers. Daily misting of the Vanda is recommended. Once a week, soak the roots of the Vanda in lukewarm water for 30 minutes. After flowering, simply trim off at the stem and new growth will emerge with time. For optimal growth, add a liquid fertiliser when watering throughout spring and summer.
