Stephania erecta (in terracotta pot)
Stephania erecta is a rarely found specimen, native to eastern and southern Asia and Australia. They are herbaceous perennial vines growing to around four meters in height, with a large, woody caudex and delicate parasol leaves. New growth begins in the spring and foliage will die back in the winter and go dormant leaving just the ‘potato’-like tuber.
Water regularly through spring-summer, allowing to dry out between waterings and only sparingly over winter.
