Sansevieria zeylanica, also known as the Snake Plant, is a striking and incredibly tough houseplant with tall, upright leaves marked with beautiful deep green striping. It brings a bold, architectural feel to any interior and is perfect for both modern and classic spaces.
One of the easiest plants to care for, it tolerates low light but grows best in bright, indirect light. Allow the compost to dry out between waterings and avoid overwatering as this plant stores moisture in its leaves. Feed lightly during spring and summer. Sansevieria loves to be slightly root bound, so there’s no need to rush to repot.
