Scotch moss are flowering herbaceous evergreen perennials in the carnation family (Caryophyllaceae) that superficially resemble moss. Tiny, star-shaped flowers appear throughout the growing season amongst the golden-green foliage.
Place outdoors. Thrives in bright light but can tolerate partial shade. Water well and then allow it to dry out a little before re-watering. Feed with weak solution in summer.
