Commonly known as the Easter Cactus, this is a tropical succulent native to the forests of Brazil. Leaves are oval shaped and glossy green with stunning star-shaped blooms which appear around Easter time.
Your plant will be chosen as lucky dip from the available selection of colours.
During the growing season (Spring-Summer), water thoroughly and then allow the top 5cm of soil to dry out before re-watering. Prefers bright, indirect light. Mist frequently and apply cacti feed every two weeks in the spring and summer.
In December, when the plant requires a resting period, place the plant in a cool, dark room for 8-12 weeks to promote new flower buds.
