Piper crocatum is a climber in the Piperaceae (pepper) family, native to northeast India.

It is a rarely seen and hard to find plant, with deep green heart-shaped leaves, deep green veins with splashes of pink, and a brushed silvery shine.

It does best with high humidity and warm temperatures. Water when the top two inches dry and feed from May to September 1 every 2 weeks with liquid fertiliser.
