Pilosocereus azureus, often known as the Blue Columnar Cactus, is a striking architectural species with upright stems in a soft powdery blue tone. Its clean, vertical form makes it a simple yet impactful addition to shelves, desks or sunny spots.
Native to South America, this cactus is easy to care for and thrives in bright conditions. As it matures, it develops a more sculptural, column-like presence, bringing height and structure to your space.
Care & styling tips
Place in a bright position with plenty of light, including some direct sun. Allow the compost to dry out fully between waterings, and reduce watering significantly in winter. Feed monthly during the growing season with a cactus fertiliser.
