Watermelon Peperomia
Peperomia argyreia, commonly known as the Watermelon Peperomia, is a striking statement houseplant loved for its rounded, droplet-shaped leaves patterned like watermelon rinds. In summer, it produces slender green flower spikes that add to its charm.
Native to the tropical and subtropical regions of South and Central America, the Peperomia genus belongs to the Piperaceae (pepper) family. Often called Radiator Plants, Peperomia enjoy warmth and indirect light — making them ideal for bright rooms and workspaces. They’re also non-toxic to pets, perfect for pet-friendly homes.
Light: Bright, indirect light.
Watering: Allow the top layer of compost to dry before rewatering. Avoid waterlogging.
Humidity: Prefers moderate humidity; mist occasionally in dry conditions.
Feeding: Feed monthly in spring and summer with a diluted houseplant fertiliser.

Care Instructions
Light
Prefers moderate to bright, indirect light. Too much direct sunlight can result in scorched leaves.
Water
Water thoroughly, then allow most of the compost to dry out before rewatering. Overwatering will cause the roots to rot.
Food
Feed once a month through spring and summer with a quality liquid plant food. There is no need to feed this plant in the winter months.
Humidity
Lightly mist occasionally, but avoid too much water sitting on the leaves of the plant.
