Oxalis triangularis 'Mijke' – the striking False Shamrock plant.
Known for its deep purple, clover-shaped leaves that open and close with the light, the Oxalis triangularis (also called the False Shamrock) is one of the most captivating indoor plants you can own. Its delicate foliage moves throughout the day, and soft pink or white blooms appear during the growing season, adding extra charm.
This plant grows from small bulbs beneath the soil. If it begins to wilt or die back, don’t panic – it’s simply going dormant. Allow it to rest in a cool, dry place for a few weeks, then water lightly to encourage fresh new growth.
Care Guide:
Prefers medium to bright indirect light. Water thoroughly and allow the top inch of soil to dry before watering again. Feed occasionally during spring and summer to support healthy regrowth.
