Opuntia jamaicensis [Prickly Pear Cactus]
Hailing from Jamaica, this segmented cactus, with sharp thorns, is a real eye-catcher and easy to care for. They flower from the terminal ends of segment pads.
They prefer bright light, but don’t let them scorch in the summer! Water from April to September when the soil has dried out and very sparingly in winter. Feed fortnightly in spring and summer only.
