A compact, evergreen shrub with bright red and yellowish-green foliage in summer, becoming orange and red in autumn and winter. Small white flowers in conical panicles are produced in summer.
Place outdoors in a bright, sheltered spot. Water well and then allow it to dry out a little before re-watering. Feed with weak solution in spring and deadhead to prolong flowering.
