Myrtus communis [Mrytle]
Native to the Mediterranean, this flowering evergreen shrub has glossy leaves which can be pruned to shape the plant. It is suitable outdoors in the milder months.
Prefers bright indirect light in spring/summer. Best kept in a cool, but bright room in winter months - keep away from radiators! Water when the top inch of compost has dried. Apply feed in spring/summer.
