Monstera deliciosa, commonly known as the Swiss Cheese Plant, is a timeless houseplant with large, glossy, heart-shaped leaves that develop distinctive splits and holes as they mature.
Lush, bold and instantly recognisable, it brings a relaxed, tropical feel to any space. As it grows, it will naturally climb using aerial roots, making it perfect for training up a moss pole or allowing to sprawl for a more informal look.
Place in bright, indirect light for best growth, though it will tolerate moderate shade. Water thoroughly, allowing the top inch of compost to dry out between waterings. Keep warm and mist occasionally to encourage healthy, vibrant foliage.

Care Instructions
Light
Prefers indirect bright light and will tolerate direct sunlight in the morning or evening. If positioned in a shadier spot the plant will offer less growth and require less water.
Water
Thoroughly water, then allow the top few centimeters of compost to dry before re-watering. Water less in winter when the plant is growing more slowly. Over-watering can cause root rot.
Food
Feed every second time you water through spring and summer with a quality liquid plant food. There is no need to feed this plant in winter.
Humidity
This plant enjoys humidity. Place in a bathroom and/or mist regularly with water. Remove dust from the leaves with a damp cloth to improve photosynthesis.
