The Swiss Cheese Plant is a 70’s cult classic with heart shaped leaves which add fantastic impact with their perforations that develop as the leaves mature. Climbs using aerial roots.
Prefers bright indirect light but will tolerate moderate shade. Water thoroughly and re-water only when the top inch of soil has dried out. Provide warmth for best growth and mist regularly. Fenestrations (holes) in the leaves will appear as the plant matures.

Care Instructions
Light
Prefers indirect bright light and will tolerate direct sunlight in the morning or evening. If positioned in a shadier spot the plant will offer less growth and require less water.
Water
Thoroughly water, then allow the top few centimeters of compost to dry before re-watering. Water less in winter when the plant is growing more slowly. Over-watering can cause root rot.
Food
Feed every second time you water through spring and summer with a quality liquid plant food. There is no need to feed this plant in winter.
Humidity
This plant enjoys humidity. Place in a bathroom and/or mist regularly with water. Remove dust from the leaves with a damp cloth to improve photosynthesis.
