Mini Flask Planted Terrarium
Mini Flask Planted Terrarium is a compact closed terrarium filled with a changing selection of small tropical plants and natural greenery. The simple flask-shaped glass vessel and cork lid create a miniature indoor landscape that looks lovely on a shelf, desk or side table.
Measuring approximately 10cm wide × 15cm high, it is small enough to fit almost anywhere while still creating a beautifully planted display. The enclosed environment recycles moisture naturally, making it an easy-care choice and a lovely gift for plant lovers.
How Does a Closed Terrarium Work?
Once sealed, moisture circulates between the compost, plants and glass, creating a naturally humid miniature growing environment. Water taken up by the plants is gradually released back into the air before condensing and returning to the growing medium.
Once this balance has settled, a closed terrarium requires very little watering or day-to-day attention.
Light & Position
Place your terrarium in bright, indirect light, away from strong direct sunshine. Direct sun can quickly raise the temperature inside the glass and may scorch the plants.
Keep away from radiators and other direct heat sources.
Watering & Humidity
When kept sealed, your Mini Flask Terrarium should need very little watering. If the compost and glass appear consistently dry, remove the cork and lightly mist over the plants.
Avoid pouring water directly into the terrarium, as too much water can quickly lead to waterlogging and may disturb the planted surface.
A small amount of condensation is completely normal. If the glass remains heavily fogged for long periods, remove the cork for a few hours to allow some excess moisture to escape before resealing.
Feeding
Terrarium plants generally do not need feeding. Additional fertiliser can encourage plants to grow too quickly for the enclosed space.

Care Instructions
Light
Prefers bright, indirect light. Do not place in direct sunlight as this can scorch the plants and also create too high a temperature inside the vessel.
Water
Terrariums rarely require watering if kept sealed. If the soil looks dry, mist water in to the vessel. Pouring water can cause a muddy splash!
Food
Generally, the plants inside a terrarium do not need fed as this can cause them to quickly outgrow the space.
Humidity
If condensation appears on the glass remove the cork until this clears. Too much water in the tearrium will cause the plants to rot.
