Marimo (Aegagropila linnaei) are a rare, naturally spherical form of freshwater green algae, found in cold lakes in Japan and parts of Northern Europe. Soft and velvety to the touch, they are traditionally associated with good luck, enduring love and longevity, making them a thoughtful gift as well as a fascinating addition to your own home.
Exceptionally easy to care for, Marimo thrive in low to medium light away from direct sunshine. Keep them fully submerged in clean, cool water, changing the water every two to four weeks. Occasionally roll the Marimo gently between your hands to help maintain its naturally rounded shape.
