Lavandula ‘Essence Purple’ (English Lavender) is a compact, upright evergreen known for its silvery-green foliage and beautifully fragrant purple flower spikes. A classic garden favourite, it brings colour, scent and a soft, Mediterranean feel to patios, doorways and sunny borders.
Perfect for pots and containers, this variety has a neat, tidy habit and produces highly aromatic flowers that can be enjoyed fresh or dried.
Light: Requires a bright, sunny position.
Watering: Water thoroughly, allowing the soil to dry out between waterings. Avoid sitting in wet soil.
Soil: Prefers well-drained soil or compost.
Feeding: Feed lightly during spring and summer.
Good to know: Best suited to outdoor growing in a sunny, sheltered spot.
