Hoya mathilde ‘Splash’ is a rarely seen and beautifully compact variety known for its round, deep green leaves covered in delicate silver speckles. A perfect choice for collectors, this plant offers both charm and resilience.
Native to tropical Asia, Hoyas are evergreen climbers that can be trained to climb or left to trail naturally. Hoya mathilde ‘Splash’ produces clusters of small, star-shaped, fragrant flowers when mature, making it a rewarding and decorative houseplant.
Care Guide:
Place in bright, indirect light. Water once the top few centimetres of soil have dried out, and feed every two weeks during spring and summer with a balanced liquid fertiliser. Allow excess water to drain freely and avoid overwatering. Ideal for hanging planters or shelves.

Care Instructions
Light
Place in bright, indirect light. A little gentle morning or evening sun can encourage flowering, but avoid prolonged harsh midday sun, which may scorch the leaves.
Water
Water thoroughly, then allow the top few centimetres of compost to dry before watering again. This plant stores moisture in its fleshy leaves and prefers to dry slightly between waterings. Reduce watering during winter.
Food
Feed once a month during spring and summer with a quality liquid houseplant fertiliser. Regular feeding encourages healthy growth, strong roots and more reliable flowering.
Humidity
This plant is happy in average household humidity but appreciates slightly higher humidity where possible. Good air circulation is equally important for healthy growth. Avoid excessive misting.
