Wax Plant
🚚 Free UK shipping on orders over £50 🪴
Hoya ‘Flamingo Dream’ is a stunning trailing houseplant with glossy green leaves edged in creamy white and flushed with soft pink tones. Its colourful variegated foliage makes it a beautiful addition to shelves, plant stands and hanging planters, where its cascading stems can be fully appreciated.
Part of the much-loved Wax Plant family, Hoyas are prized for their attractive foliage, easy-care nature and potential to produce clusters of fragrant star-shaped flowers as they mature. Hoya ‘Flamingo Dream’ is particularly sought after for its striking pink and cream variegation, which becomes more pronounced in bright conditions.
Named after the botanist Thomas Hoy, gardener to the Duke of Northumberland, Hoyas are native to tropical and subtropical regions of Asia and Australia. They can be grown as trailing plants or trained to climb a support, making them wonderfully versatile houseplants.

Care Instructions
Light
Place in bright, indirect light. A little gentle morning or evening sun can encourage flowering, but avoid prolonged harsh midday sun, which may scorch the leaves.
Water
Water thoroughly, then allow the top few centimetres of compost to dry before watering again. This plant stores moisture in its fleshy leaves and prefers to dry slightly between waterings. Reduce watering during winter.
Food
Feed once a month during spring and summer with a quality liquid houseplant fertiliser. Regular feeding encourages healthy growth, strong roots and more reliable flowering.
Humidity
This plant is happy in average household humidity but appreciates slightly higher humidity where possible. Good air circulation is equally important for healthy growth. Avoid excessive misting.
