Hoya carnosa ‘Krinkle 8’ is a beautiful trailing houseplant with thick, glossy, dark green leaves that naturally curl, creating its signature crinkled texture. Its sculptural form makes it perfect for hanging displays or letting cascade from a shelf.
The Hoya genus — named after Thomas Hoy, gardener to the Duke of Northumberland — includes many sought-after species known for their waxy leaves and clusters of fragrant, star-shaped flowers. ‘Krinkle 8’ is a particularly resilient and rewarding variety for both new and experienced plant owners.
Water thoroughly once the top inch of soil has dried out, and allow excess water to drain away. Place in medium to bright, indirect light and feed fortnightly during spring and summer for best results.
