Hoya australis ‘Blondie’ is a stunning trailing or climbing houseplant with thick, glossy leaves edged in pink and creamy white variegation. The fleshy, succulent foliage gives this plant a striking contrast and elegant structure, making it a standout addition to any indoor collection.
Native to Australia and South-East Asia, the Hoya genus — named after Thomas Hoy, gardener to the Duke of Northumberland — is known for its hardy, easy-care plants and occasional clusters of fragrant, star-shaped flowers. ‘Blondie’ is a particularly beautiful variegated cultivar prized for its pastel tones.
Allow the top few centimetres of soil to dry between waterings and avoid overwatering. Position in bright, indirect light to maintain vibrant variegation. Feed fortnightly during spring and summer for best growth.
