Ficus microcarpa ‘Ginseng’, also known as the Ginseng Bonsai, is a striking miniature tree with thick, sculptural roots and glossy green leaves. Its compact size and architectural form make it a perfect statement plant for desks, shelves, or windowsills.
Native to Southeast Asia, this easy-care indoor bonsai thrives in bright, indirect light and appreciates consistent warmth. It can be placed outdoors during summer, but protect it from strong midday sun and cool draughts. Water when the top layer of soil begins to dry and mist occasionally to increase humidity.

Care Instructions
Light
Prefers indirect bright light and will tolerate direct sunlight in the morning or evening. Ficus like to be warm, so keep away from cold draughts.
Water
Water thoroughly, then allow the top half of the compost to dry before rewatering. Over-watering will cause root rot.
Food
Feed every second time you water through spring and summer with a quality liquid plant food. There is no need to feed this plant in winter.
Humidity
This plant enjoys humidity. Mist regularly with water and remove dust from the leaves with a damp cloth to improve photosynthesis.
