Native to Brazil, this cactus is known for producing showy bright yellow blooms, in the right conditions. As it matures the bulbous shape becomes columnar with spines lining the ridges.
Prefers bright light, but don’t let them scorch in the summer! Water from April to September when the soil has dried out slightly and not at all in winter. Feed fortnightly in spring and summer only.
