Epiphyllum ‘Red Tip’

Epiphyllum ‘Red Tip’ is a striking trailing orchid cactus with long, flattened stems edged with rich red tones in bright light. Its gently undulating, pendant growth creates a soft, cascading silhouette that works beautifully from a shelf or hanging planter.

This epiphytic cactus originates from the forests of Central America, where it grows beneath the canopy in warm, humid conditions. As it matures, stems lengthen and drape elegantly, bringing movement and texture to interior spaces. With the right care, it can produce large, vivid blooms in the warmer months.

Please note: you may notice a clean cut at the base of some stems. This is a normal part of the growing process, where growers prune Epiphyllum to encourage branching and create fuller, more balanced plants over time.

Care & styling tips
Place in bright, indirect light or partial shade. Water when the top inch of compost has dried, keeping the soil lightly moist but never waterlogged. Avoid allowing it to dry out completely. Benefits from occasional misting and a monthly feed during spring and summer.
