Dracaena ‘Hawaiian Sunshine’ is a striking upright houseplant with long, slender leaves marked by a bright golden-yellow stripe and deep green margins. Its architectural shape and bold foliage make it a beautiful choice for adding height and structure to larger indoor spaces.
Dracaenas are valued for being exceptionally low-maintenance houseplants, tolerating lower light levels and occasional missed waterings better than many tropical plants. Slow growing and long lived, they are particularly well suited to busy homes, offices and commercial interiors.
Light & Position
Prefers bright, indirect light but will tolerate lower light levels. Avoid strong direct sunlight, which can scorch the leaves.
Watering
Allow the top few centimetres of compost to dry between waterings. Dracaenas prefer to be kept slightly on the dry side rather than sitting in wet soil.
Care
Keep away from cold draughts and very dry heat sources. Feed monthly during spring and summer with a diluted houseplant fertiliser.

Light
Prefers indirect bright light but will tolerate shadier areas in your home - as long as you don't overwater!
Water
Water thoroughly, then allow the compost to dry completely before rewatering. Over-watering will cause root rot.
Food
Feed every second time you water through spring and summer with a quality liquid plant food. There is no need to feed this plant in winter.
Humidity
This plant enjoys a decent level of humidity. Mist regularly with water and remove dust from the leaves with a damp cloth to improve photosynthesis.
