Dianthus 'Mountain Frost Pink' is a beautiful, compact evergreen perennial that produces masses of vibrant pink, delicately fringed flowers above neat cushions of blue-green foliage. Flowering over many months, it adds long-lasting colour, gentle fragrance and plenty of charm to borders, rockeries, gravel gardens, containers and patio pots.
Commonly known as Garden Pinks, Dianthus have been treasured in cottage gardens for centuries. 'Mountain Frost Pink' is a modern variety bred for exceptional flower power, producing an abundance of blooms throughout late spring and summer. The lightly scented flowers are loved by bees and other pollinating insects, making it an excellent choice for wildlife-friendly gardens.
Plant in full sun in free-draining soil and remove faded flowers to encourage repeat blooming. Once established, Dianthus are drought tolerant and require very little maintenance, returning year after year with fresh growth and colourful displays.
