The Dendrobium ‘Berry Oda’ Orchid is a beautifully elegant houseplant, loved for its rich purple flowers and subtle, sweet fragrance. This compact orchid brings a touch of luxury to bright windowsills, bedrooms and even cool bathrooms.
Unlike many orchids, this Dendrobium thrives in slightly cooler indoor conditions, making it an excellent choice for homes with bright but not overly warm spaces. Its flowering cycle is natural and relaxed rather than strictly timed, allowing it to bloom when conditions are just right.
For best results, place your orchid in bright, indirect light and avoid strong direct sun, which can scorch the leaves. Grow in well-draining orchid bark and water when the compost has mostly dried out, ensuring excess water can drain away freely to protect the roots.
Feed with a soluble orchid fertiliser during spring and summer to encourage healthy growth and abundant flowering.
