Delosperma echinatum, commonly known as the Pickle Plant, is a compact succulent with thin wiry stems and pairs of barrel shaped green leaves covered in soft white bristles. Its quirky texture and miniature size make it a perfect choice for desks, shelves or small sunny windowsills.
Prefers bright light and should be watered only when the soil has begun to dry out. Avoid letting it sit in water as the roots are prone to rot. Feed monthly with a liquid cacti and succulent fertiliser from spring to summer to support healthy growth.
