Dahlia Gardenetta® 'Velvet Crush' is one of the most exciting new dahlias to arrive in recent years, combining luxurious two-tone flowers with dramatic dark foliage. Rich plum-purple and soft pink petals create a stunning colour gradient, while the deep bronze leaves provide a striking contrast throughout the summer.
Compact, bushy and exceptionally floriferous, this award-winning dahlia is perfect for containers, patios, balconies and sunny borders. The large double blooms can reach up to 10cm across and are produced continuously from early summer until the first frosts, providing months of vibrant colour.
Gardenetta® 'Velvet Crush' has earned praise for its strong branching habit, excellent weather resistance and reliable performance in containers. Its compact size makes it ideal for urban gardens and smaller outdoor spaces where larger dahlias would be overwhelming.
Plant in a sunny position with fertile, well-drained soil. Water regularly during dry weather and feed throughout the growing season to encourage abundant flowering. Deadhead spent blooms to prolong the display.
