Coffea arabica is indigenous to Yemen, it is believed to be the first species of coffee to be cultivated and is the dominant cultivar in coffee production.
Prefers bright indirect light to semi-shade and warm temperatures. Direct sunlight may scorch the leaves. High humidity preferred so mist regularly. Once mature and, if well cared for, the plant will blossom in spring and red coffee cherries will develop.
