Ceropegia woodii (14cm hangpot)

Ceropegia woodii, commonly known as String of Hearts, is a delicate trailing houseplant with fine, wiry stems lined with small, heart-shaped leaves. Each leaf is softly marbled in shades of green and silver, often with a subtle purple underside, giving the plant a light, elegant feel as it cascades.

Its long, trailing vines make it perfect for shelves or hanging planters, where it can spill gracefully downwards. Over time, String of Hearts can grow impressively long, creating a soft, layered look that pairs beautifully with more structured plants.

As a semi-succulent, Ceropegia woodii prefers bright conditions and benefits from some gentle direct sunlight, which helps bring out the best in its colouring. Allow the compost to dry slightly between waterings, taking care not to overwater, especially during the cooler months.
