Caryota mitis [Fishtail Palm]
Native to the tropical rainforests of southeast Asia. It has ragged-edged, ribbed leaflets that naturally split at the ends – like a fish tail.
Prefers warmth and suits medium to bright, indirect light. Water well and allow the soil to dry out slightly before re-watering. Feed once a month in spring/summer. Do not prune.
