Carex oshimensis ‘Evergold’, also known as Japanese Sedge, is a graceful evergreen ornamental grass with arching leaves striped in golden yellow and deep green. Its soft, cascading shape brings gentle movement and year-round colour to pots, window boxes and garden borders.
This compact size is perfect for smaller containers and for mixing with seasonal planting to create fresh, layered displays outdoors.
Carex care
Light: Full sun to partial shade. Ideal for bright or lightly shaded spots.
Water: Keep compost lightly moist but well drained.
Hardiness: Evergreen and hardy outdoors.
Care tip: Remove any tired leaves in spring to refresh the plant.
