Campanula 'Porto'

Campanula portenschlagiana ‘Porto’ is a compact flowering perennial covered in masses of vibrant violet-purple, bell-shaped flowers above fresh green foliage. Its dense, gently spreading growth makes it a beautiful choice for bright windowsills, patios, balconies and container displays.

Commonly known as a Bellflower, Campanula ‘Porto’ can be enjoyed indoors while in bloom but is ultimately a hardy outdoor perennial. Its naturally spreading habit makes it particularly well suited to pots, window boxes, rock gardens, walls and the front of borders.

Light & Position

Prefers a bright position in full sun or partial shade. If kept indoors while flowering, choose a bright, cool windowsill and avoid very hot direct sun.

Watering

Water when the surface of the compost begins to dry, keeping the soil lightly moist during active growth and flowering. Avoid allowing the plant to sit in water.

Care

Feed every few weeks during spring and summer to encourage healthy growth and plenty of flowers. Remove faded blooms regularly to help prolong the flowering display.
