Campanula 'Intense Purple' is a compact flowering perennial with masses of rich violet-purple bell-shaped flowers held above fresh green foliage. Its long flowering period and vibrant colour make it an excellent choice for bright windowsills, patios, balconies and container displays.
Although often enjoyed indoors while in flower, Campanula performs best outdoors in a sunny or lightly shaded position, where it will continue to provide colour throughout the growing season. Perfect for pots, window boxes, rock gardens and cottage-style planting schemes.
Place in bright light and water thoroughly when the compost begins to dry. Avoid allowing the plant to sit in water. Feed every few weeks during spring and summer to encourage continuous flowering and remove spent blooms to prolong the display.
