Calluna vulgaris 'Skyline Verona' is a distinctive hardy evergreen heather grown for its elegant upright habit and fresh green foliage. Part of the popular Skyline® series, it provides year-round structure and texture, making it an excellent choice for autumn containers, borders, rockeries and seasonal planting schemes.
Unlike traditional heathers, Skyline® varieties are prized primarily for their architectural form and colourful foliage rather than masses of flowers. During late summer and autumn, small white flower buds may appear, adding subtle seasonal interest while allowing the neat, upright stems to remain the star of the display.
Easy to grow and low maintenance, Calluna 'Skyline Verona' thrives in a sunny position with moist but well-drained, acidic to neutral soil. Water regularly while establishing and during prolonged dry spells, then lightly trim in spring to maintain a compact, bushy habit and encourage fresh new growth.
