Asparagus Fern (Asparagus setaceus), also known as the Plume Asparagus, is a beautifully delicate indoor plant with fine, feathery foliage that creates a soft, cloud-like effect. Loved for its elegant texture and trailing growth, it is one of the most popular fern-style houseplants for UK homes.
Despite its name, the Asparagus Fern is not a true fern but a member of the Asparagaceae family. Native to the humid forests of South and East Africa, it thrives in bright, indirect light and enjoys a little extra humidity. Mist regularly or place on a pebble tray to keep the fronds fresh and lush.
This versatile houseplant looks stunning displayed on shelves or in hanging planters where its soft foliage can cascade naturally. It is easy to care for and adds a timeless, graceful feel to any interior.
Note: The Asparagus Fern is not pet friendly, so keep it out of reach of cats and dogs.

Care Instructions
Light
Position out of any direct sunight! If in a shadier spot, the plant will offer less growth and require less water.
Water
Thoroughly water, then allow the top 3 to 4cm of compost to dry before re-watering. Water less in winter when the plant is growing more slowly. Over-watering can cause root rot.
Food
Feed every second time you water through spring and summer with a quality liquid plant food. There is no need to feed this plant in winter.
Humidity
This plant enjoys humidity. Place in a bathroom and/or mist regularly with water.
